Sherlock Holmes
My favorite Sherlock Holmes stories

Unique appearance, legendry street address, extraordinary observation skills & brilliant sense of deduction; these characteristics made Sherlock Holmes the most famous detective in the world. When Arthur Conan Doyle created Holmes, I don’t think he ever imagine Sherlock will become larger than life character as he has become over time. Sherlock was undoubtedly a product of gloomy crime filled Victorian London and his adventures capture very essence of it. Stories being narrated through his companion Jon Watson added to the fascination as he is the ideal intermediatory between reader and Holmes.
Here are some of my favorite Shelock Holmes stories in no particular order.
- A Study in Scarlet : Holmes investigates a murder that has a far flung revenge motive
- The Hound of the Baskervilles : Latest heir to the Baskerville estate seems to be threatened by a family curse.
